In August 2018, Karan Johar announced a major movie titled Takht starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bhumi Pednekar, Anil Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor. Since then, the makers are waiting to kick start the project. Karan Johar is planning to begin Takht by the end of February 2020 in a start to end schedule. The film will be shot over 170-day schedule and currently, they are locking in every actor's dates. Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, and Kareena Kapoor Khan will be required together for the majority of scenes. Hence, the dates are being worked out accordingly. Karan Johar is currently working on the final edit of the script. Takht is set in the Mughal era and will showcase the story of two warring brothers Aurangzeb and Dara Shikoh. Veteran actor Dimple Kapadia’s mother Betty Kapadia, who recently celebrated her 80th birthday, passed away on Saturday in Mumbai. The family chose to keep the funeral private with family and close friends in attendance. On Sunday, Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna, and Dimple Kapadia were snapped by the paparazzi at the funeral. Akshay Kumar has always tried to do his bit for the community of stuntmen. Two years after he launched an insurance scheme for Bollywood's stuntmen, the actor once again rushed to the aid of two stunt artistes who were recently injured. Bittoo and Hari Singh, members of senior action director Sham Kaushal's stunt team, were injured during the rehearsals for a song launch from Good Newwz in Chandigarh. Though Kumar was not present at the scene, the actor along with Karan Johar promptly arranged for an air ambulance to fly one of them down to Mumbai for necessary medical treatment. Religious intolerance get a new definition this week as a fundamentalist organization has asked the  Central Board Of Film Certification to remove visuals of Sadhus dressed as gods dancing with Salman Khan to the sound of 'Hud Hud Dabangg' . Says the Hindu Janjagruti Samiti, “If the movie happens to be on the lines of what we have seen in the trailer, it is extremely shocking depiction of Hindu deities and sadhus and also goes at great lengths to humiliate and poke fun at the basic foundations of Sanatana Dharma.” However, it is unlikely that the aforementioned  visuals will be removed from the film. She was probably the oldest debutante of Hindi cinema whose infectious energy and positive smile touched everyone. Pushpa Joshi, who was seen playing Saurabh Shukla's mother in Ajay Devgn starrer Raid, passed away on Tuesday. Her grandson Abhas Joshi earlier took to social media to tell us that she was put on life support. Raid director Raj Kumar Gupta mourned the aged actor's death on Twitter.
