Ever since the Black Lives Matter movement, lack of diversity in different fields has come to limelight. Hollywood is facing the backlash for hiring white actors for people of colour roles. Amid the discussions surrounding the diversity problems, Marvel actor Anthony Mackie has criticized the studio for their lack of diversity in the films and as crew members. During an interview with Daveed Riggs (Snowpiercer) for Variety's Actors on Actor series, Mackie said, "It really bothered me that I've done seven Marvel movies where every producer, every director, ever stunt person, every costume designer, every PA, every single person has been white." Actor Ryan Reynolds will return to Deadpool 3 as the film is in the scripting stage. But, the fate of the film remains uncertain ever since Fox was acquired by Disney.
