Twitter missed out on tech peers’ stock rally in Dorsey era, grew user base

Jack Dorsey’s era running Twitter spanned one of the biggest rallies for US technology stocks. Twitter missed out on most of it. A nearly 75% gain for the social-media platform during Dorsey’s tenure as CEO lags far behind the more than 280% rally for the Nasdaq 100 and the almost 140% gain in the S& as of Friday’s close. During Dorsey’s six-year tenure, other megatech stocks have posted triple-digit gains.

Bollywood actor Dia Mirzam, who is a model-turned-actor, made her debut in the films with the 2001 film Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein starring alongside R Madhavan and Saif Ali Khan. She witnessed major ups and downs in her career. In her latest interview, she opened up about her early days in the film industry, rampant sexism, and how things have changed over the years. Speaking to Brut India, Dia Mirza said, “People were writing, thinking and making sexist cinema, and I was a part of these stories.
