Author Twinkle Khanna's birthday is today, and her husband, Akshay Kumar made the occasion extra special. Akshay penned a love-filled greeting for the birthday lady, sharing a cute snapshot from their New Year's holiday.

Akshay and Twinkle jetted off to the Maldives with their daughter Nitara for a relaxing vacation. The celebrity pair was one of the few that left town a week ahead of time to kick off the festivities. The celebrity couple has been sharing beautiful photos from their vacation with their fans. When they aren't sharing picture-perfect moments, the two have been sharing footage of their fun-filled activities, such as seaside bike trips.

Twinkle's late father, Rajesh Khanna, celebrates his birthday today. The actress and author posted a nostalgic childhood photo on her Instagram account and captioned it, “He always said I was the best present he could have ever received, as I tumbled feet first into the world on his birthday. A little star looking up at the biggest one in the galaxy. It’s our day together, now and forever.”

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar ended the year on a positive note. In addition to having the highest box office collection for a Bollywood film in 2021, the actor had the largest OTT release for his film Atrangi Re, which also starred Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan.
