IndiGo fire scare: ‘Engine fail warning came, fire extinguisher bottle discharged’

A senior Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said: “The IndIgo A320 (VT-IFM) was involved in reject takeoff as engine two fail warning came. Loud bang (sound) was heard. Fire extinguisher bottle was discharged. The aircraft returned to the bay and has been grounded for inspection. The DGCA will carry out a detailed investigation to ascertain the cause and suitable followup action shall be taken.”

Bollywood actor Dia Mirzam, who is a model-turned-actor, made her debut in the films with the 2001 film Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein starring alongside R Madhavan and Saif Ali Khan. She witnessed major ups and downs in her career. In her latest interview, she opened up about her early days in the film industry, rampant sexism, and how things have changed over the years.
