6 Years Of Raees: Mahira Khan celebrates the day by addressing Shah Rukh Khan as ‘My Pathaan’

It was a double celebration for Shah Rukh Khan fans as January 25 marked the release of Pathaan and 6 years since the release of Raees. Helmed by Rahul Dholakia, the film marked the Bollywood debut of popular Pakistani actress Mahira Khan. It also starred Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a pivotal role. On this special occasion, the actress took to her Instagram story to share her love for SRK. She simply shared her old post and wrote, “My Pathan” in the caption. Rahul Dholakia celebrated the occasion by watching Pathaan. Sharing his review on his Twitter handle, Rahul wrote, “6 years ago we released #Raees - today was Day One for #Pathaan. An incredible experience watching it in a house full show on a huge IMAX screen, with the die-hard fans of @iamsrk @deepikapadukone @TheJohnAbraham @BeingSalmanKhan!! Sunny Leone featured in the recreated dance number, ‘Laila Main Laila’. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan stars alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in Pathaan. Helmed by Siddharth Anand of War fame, the film has arrived in theatres in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. On the other hand, Mahira Khan was most recently seen in the blockbuster The Legend Of Maula Jatt with Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi and Humaima Malick.
