Apple’s India sales near $6 billion as Tim Cook begins retail push

Apple's revenue in India rose to almost $6bn in the year through March, with sales increasing by nearly 50%, from $4.1bn a year earlier. The figures emphasise the market's increasing importance to the iPhone maker, as CEO Tim Cook arrived in India to open its first local stores.
