'Gig jobs continue to grow stronger in tough times'

The global economic downturn has led companies to adopt better strategies, with many opting to hire gig workers and variablise their frontline workforce costs, according to a report by BetterPlace. The report shows that while gig jobs have grown stronger, permanent frontline jobs have not seen significant growth. The total number of new frontline jobs decreased by 17.5% in FY23 compared to FY22.
