ICICI Lombard veteran Sanjeev Mantri new MD & CEO

The board of ICICI Lombard has appointed Sanjeev Mantri, executive director of the company, as the successor to Bhargav Dasgupta, who last week resigned as MD & CEO of the company. Dasgupta had stepped down ahead of his completion of 15 years as CEO in April 2024. The new rules on the tenure of CEOs limit their term to a maximum of 15 years. Dasgupta will be joining Asian Development Bank.

Bollywood actor Dia Mirzam, who is a model-turned-actor, made her debut in the films with the 2001 film Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein starring alongside R Madhavan and Saif Ali Khan. She witnessed major ups and downs in her career. In her latest interview, she opened up about her early days in the film industry, rampant sexism, and how things have changed over the years. Speaking to Brut India, Dia Mirza said, “People were writing, thinking and making sexist cinema, and I was a part of these stories.
