NavIC chips may become must for auto makers

The Indian government plans to mandate the use of chips embedded with ISRO's NavIC GPS solution for the automotive industry. The move aims to prioritize India-made systems and designs. Accord Software Systems, a local startup, has incorporated NavIC in its integrated circuit design, which is being used to produce a chip sold to Indian automotive companies.
