IGL eyes villages in south-west Delhi to expand PNG service

Indraprastha Gas Ltd plans to expand its piped natural gas service to 57 villages in Delhi's south-west region. As urban areas near saturation and electric vehicles threaten CNG sales, the company aims to reach rural areas. This initiative is part of the government's goal to increase the share of gas in India's energy basket to 15% by 2030.

Bollywood actor Dia Mirzam, who is a model-turned-actor, made her debut in the films with the 2001 film Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein starring alongside R Madhavan and Saif Ali Khan. She witnessed major ups and downs in her career. In her latest interview, she opened up about her early days in the film industry, rampant sexism, and how things have changed over the years. Speaking to Brut India, Dia Mirza said, “People were writing, thinking and making sexist cinema, and I was a part of these stories.
