EFTA deal: Tariff cuts to be linked to investment by companies

India will link duty cuts with the EFTA trade deal, including watches, wine, chocolates, and machinery. Talks for the pact began in 2008 and resumed last year. The proposed agreement with Oman is also underway. India is committed to trade liberalisation and aims to open up the services sector.
