Sensex witnesses year's 2nd biggest fall, back at January level

From an intra-day low at 72,334, sensex closed at 72,404, down 1,062 points. It was the second biggest fall this year. Nifty lost 345 points to close at 21,958 points. "Investors turned risk averse in the ongoing poll season and further lightened equity exposure to avoid being caught off guard," said Prashanth Tapse, Senior VP (Research), Mehta Equities.

Bollywood actor Dia Mirzam, who is a model-turned-actor, made her debut in the films with the 2001 film Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein starring alongside R Madhavan and Saif Ali Khan. She witnessed major ups and downs in her career. In her latest interview, she opened up about her early days in the film industry, rampant sexism, and how things have changed over the years. Speaking to Brut India, Dia Mirza said, “People were writing, thinking and making sexist cinema, and I was a part of these stories.
