Citigroup taps JP Morgan's India chief in hiring spree

Citigroup has appointed Kaustubh Kulkarni, previously JP Morgan's India chief, as co-head of investment banking coverage for key Asian and Australian regions. Kulkarni, a veteran with three decades at JP Morgan, will be based in Singapore. This strategic hire signals Citi's ambition to intensify its competition within Asia's dynamic capital markets landscape.
