Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw unveiled the new Vande Bharat sleeper train, promising enhanced comfort for overnight journeys with upgraded amenities like improved suspension and modern washrooms. The first service, connecting Guwahati and Kolkata, is set to launch in January 2026, with fares starting at Rs 2,300.
