Saudi Arabia pumps 7 million bpd via east-west pipeline amid Hormuz disruption

Saudi Arabia has fully operationalized its East-West pipeline, moving 7 million barrels of oil daily to the Red Sea port of Yanbu. This crucial alternative route aims to maintain export supplies following disruptions to the Strait of Hormuz. While not fully replacing Hormuz volumes, the pipeline's operation is mitigating significant price increases amid escalating regional tensions.

Bollywood actor Dia Mirzam, who is a model-turned-actor, made her debut in the films with the 2001 film Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein starring alongside R Madhavan and Saif Ali Khan. She witnessed major ups and downs in her career. In her latest interview, she opened up about her early days in the film industry, rampant sexism, and how things have changed over the years. Speaking to Brut India, Dia Mirza said, “People were writing, thinking and making sexist cinema, and I was a part of these stories.
